The Liminal Robe is Lunarc’s signature silhouette.
Every robe is individually hand dyed using home grown botanicals, foraged native flora and food waste.
This robe was created using pigment from pomegranate, geraniums, rose petals, onion skins, eucalyptus and iron.
Multiple processing techniques have been layered and infused into the cloth to create texture and depth. Harnessing pigments from nature to create unique patterns that can never be replicated.
The beauty of botanical dye is that the colours may shift and transform over time… just like nature… just like us.
Made in Australia from silk satin crepe de chine featuring french seams, internal binding and reinforced side seams to encourage longevity and durability.
This garment is entirely compostable due to the natural fibres, silk thread and cotton internal labels.
The Liminal robe is currently available in one size only. This is suitable for sizes 6-12.

THE PROCESS
The beauty of natural colour lies in its subtle imperfections and limitless variations.
Lunarc celebrates this diversity, with the intention of allowing every creation its own unique journey and individual aesthetic, an energy that is becoming obsolete by the introduction of fast fashion and textile industries.
At Lunarc, all our dye materials are locally foraged and collected directly from nature, or rescued from food or floristry waste sources, ensuring not only a low carbon footprint but a beautiful opportunity to capture the essence of the environment.
Raw metals and minerals are used mindfully and sparingly to both explore and deepen colour spectrum, as well as encourage pigment longevity.
We fundamentally believe that quality is always paramount over quantity.
We source high spec fabrications to ensure lasting durability and longevity
We create small quantity collections, as not to over produce and risk wasting resources.
Every fibre and fabrication is naturally derived, salvaging pre-loved fabrics and threads where possible.
All creations are sewn with silk or cotton thread to ensure 100% compostability.
